I write horror, sci-fi, and dramedies that challenge a viewer to confront their own perspective and emotional baggage. Stories are supposed to be engaging, thought provoking, enticing. I’ve also been told that I have a messy enough life that I might as well shape into something cathartic like a script. Is that a compliment? Probably not! I’ve been a script reader for Diverso’s Minority Report and the Los Angeles Screenwriting Competition. Learning about the craft at the highest level is the best way for me to update and self-critique my own samples, shaping them to be as attractive and intriguing as possible.

My Hollywood goal was to be staffed within 10 years. So far, after about 5 years of consistent work in the business, I’d say I’m doing pretty well! But ask me again in another 5 and we’ll see…
